AmericanMedicalBoards.com ("we") publishes free reference information about medical licensure, physician demand and related topics. We do not require accounts and do not ask you for personal information.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads, including ads for medical test preparation, student loans and hospital physician recruiting. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent message before personalized ads are served. We do not endorse advertisers, and advertisers do not influence the data we publish.

Translation

The language menu uses the Google Translate website tool. It loads only when you choose a language other than English, sends the text of the page to Google for translation, and stores your choice in a cookie named googtrans so later pages open in the same language. Choosing English removes that cookie. Machine translation can be inaccurate; the English version is the authoritative text.

Fonts and map

Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives standard technical data such as your IP address and browser type. The U.S. maps are served from our own site and make no third-party requests.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Vercel or Netlify) may record standard request data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited for security and performance. We do not sell this data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU), you may have rights to access or delete data about you. Because we don't collect personal data directly, most requests are best directed to Google through the links above. You can also contact us at contact@americanmedicalboards.com.

Children

This site is intended for medical students, physicians and healthcare employers and is not directed at children under 13.
